Movie Previews : Aladin

Movie goers will enjoy, Aladin, which is said to be a modern re-imagining of the classic tale of ‘Aladin and The Magic Lamp’. The movie, will be released in October, is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and is said to be an adventure for the entire family. The movie trailer states, Aladin Chatterjee (Riteish Deshmukh) lives in the city of Khwaish, an orphan who has been bullied since childhood. Aladin’s life and luck changes when Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandez) gives him a magic lamp that has a magical genie Genius (Amitabh Bachchan). The movie is full of twists and turns, especially when the genie goes on to make Aladin’s life difficult. There are hints of death, dark secrets, and a tale of destiny.  The director has been quoted as stating: “The film is unlike any other movie seen before on the Indian screen.’Aladin’ will be a visual treat. It will be like eating ice-cream with your eyes.”
