As reported by CBC News, the Abbotsford Gurdwara, the oldest Sikh temple in North America, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Abbotsford mayor George Peary officially launched the celebrations on Monday by proclaiming 2011 Year of the Gurdwara.
