In a recent Metro Vancouver poll, Angel Care Dental was voted as one of five top dentists in the Lower Mainland. One of the main reasons for this is Dr. Mahsa Soraya’s fabulous energy, which is reflected in the employees that she considers family, and the space she considers home.At Angel Care Dental, Dr. Soraya and her husband, Dr. Alex Galo, have a combined 40 years of experience, striking the perfect balance between family and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Galo takes care of extractions, root canals and implants; Angel Care Dental offers oral sedation for these kinds of treatments, while Dr. Soraya handles the beautifying, including the straightening and whitening of teeth, along with Botox for the mouth and face. “Botox doesn’t eradicate your smile lines, it just softens them and gives you a fresher look,” she said. In the coming years, Dr. Soraya hopes to expand the pampering aspect of her business, especially for moms!

The angels that are interspersed throughout the office have special meaning. “The image of an angel, to me, is someone who cares and is very non-invasive. So ‘Angel Care’ came as a as a natural name,” said Dr. Soraya. At Angel Care Dental, Dr. Soraya’s longterm approach has created an exciting new trend in her office. “What seems to be happening is that now, a lot of my patients that have grown up are bringing me their kids.”

Her bubbly personality means children feel relaxed during regular checkups. They also have access to the latest in technology, including an iPad that educates.In the 20 years Angel Care Dental has been serving the community, Dr. Soraya has been able to resolve each and every concern. “If there is something that is not to your satisfaction, we’ll change it until you are happy.”With a wall full of accreditations, including a degree from the American Board of Dentistry and one from the very prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Technology, Dr. Soraya still makes time to organize fundraising events through Angel Care Dental Charity.

“It’s a chance for us to get out there, dress up, have a good time, and any money we raise goes to a good cause.” In everything she does, what drives Dr. Soraya are the people. “I just love people,” she emphasized.
