Kites is hyped as being spellbinding and the movie follows the journey of two characters: J and Natasha, as their love has to surpass passion, culture and love filled with boundaries. The film is highly anticipated and revolves around a young man by the name of J (Hrithik Roshan) who was once a fun-loving and now is wanted by government officials. While he is left dying in the heat of Mexico, he is kept alive by his love: Natasha (Barbara Modi). Natasha is a Mexican dancer who falls in love with J. She is his lady-love but engaged to another man. Hrithik is showy and romances two women. His character is like a kite, which wanders here and there but always flies high. Kites has a unique storyline and is a dance based romantic thriller. It is a bi-lingual film (English and Hindi). It is a story of love, dance, and action. It is an intercultural romance. The romance between them, urge them to elope, which creates havoc and persecution by the families.
