Hyderabad-based Sreeram Chandra has won the fifth season of music reality show 'Indian Idol 5' and was awarded by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Volunteers at a Mississauga temple are working to set up Canada's first multimedia Sikh museum. The museum will open soon at Ontario Khalsa Darbar, located at the corner of Derry and Dixie Rds. The South Asian Link newspaper reports that it's being developed under the direction of British Columbia author Dr. Raghbir Singh Bains. According to his online biography, Bains "produced and programmed the Multimedia Sikh Museum in India, the first of its kind in the world, using new technology to make it easily accessible and interactive for all." ...
