Woman Found Dead In A Surrey Home, Husband Is In Police Custody

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 24 Nov, 2014 10:41 AM
SURREY, B.C. — A woman in her 60s has been found dead in a Surrey, B.C., home and her husband has been arrested.

Staff Sgt. Jennifer Pound of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says Mounties were called to the home (in the 6900 block of 152 St.) yesterday afternoon and found the woman's body.

IHIT was called in immediately, and Pound says while it's early in the investigation, the motive appears to be domestic-related.

Pound says the victim's husband, who's also in his 60s, is in custody.

Because the man hasn't formally been charged, Pound says the his name won't be released.
