Arjun Believes 'Ki And Ka' Will Work With Audiences

  • Arjun Believes 'Ki And Ka' Will Work With Audiences
Actor Arjun Kapoor, whose last release "Tevar" didn't turn out to be a money-spinner, feels that his upcoming romantic film "Ki and Ka" will work with the audiences.

Referring to the R. Balki's directorial, Arjun told IANS by phone from Mumbai: "I am doing a film that I believe will work with the audience. The trailer is not out and the media has certain amount of information."

Arjun will be seen essaying the role of a house husband, while actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is starring opposite the 30-year-old, will be seen playing an ambitious career-oriented woman in the movie.

Talking about "Ki and Ka", the "Aurangzeb" actor said: "It's not about the male or female dominance, it deals with equality. At the end of the day, it's not about who does what or who brings the money, who is working and who is taking care of the house... the relationship is still the same."

"You are still married to somebody, the ups and downs... the relationship has nothing to do with who is the bread winner of the house," said the actor, who will be hosting the seventh season of reality stunt-based show "Khatron Ke Khiladi".

Arjun also added that "Ki and Ka" is a "romantic comedy about relationships where there is just a role reversal and not so much about who is the dominating one and who is not the dominating one".

The film, which is slated to hit the screens next year, will also see a cameo by megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan.
