Karen Flamenco & Troy McLaughlin present Grease

    Karen & Troy are at it again. Back by popular demand the percussive duo have come back together to re-create “Grease.”

    Karen Flamenco’s Pink Ladies together with Troy McLaughlin’s tap dancing T-birds will set the Vancouver Playhouse into a 1950’s high school adventure of friendships, romances and gangs. Karen Flamenco dancers will be performing traditional flamenco dances with live flamenco guitar and song to represent the moods and emotion’s of teenage heart break and joy. All the favourite song’s and music from Grease will be played live and sung through the percussive footwork of both the tap-dancing T-birds and passionate Pink ladies. Audience members will be encouraged to sing along to the catchy tunes and throw in a few “Ole’s” along the way. Experience the electrifying flamenco rhythms and dance movements alongside the vibrant tap-dance steps all placed into the storyline of “Grease”.
