Squamish Valley Music Festival Lineup Announced: Eminem, Bruno Mars and Arcade Fire

    Considered as one of BC’s best outdoor music festivals, the Squamish Valley Music Festival announced Wednesday morning had some pretty big names in its lineup. Scheduled as a three day event in August, the festival is being projected as the biggest till date.

    Paul Runnals, executive producer for the festival mentions in a press release that ”We are confident that our overall event plans, will ensure this event runs smoothly in key areas of transportation, onsite accommodation, security and impact to the community.”

    The festival which runs from August 8-10 has expanded its size from 32 acres to 81 acres and settles a crowd of 35,000, according to news reports.

    “We feel we have one of the most breathtaking locations in the country and with the convenience of being only 40 minutes from downtown Vancouver, we know that this event will continue to generate significant tourism and economic benefits to British Columbia and specifically throughout the Squamish region.”
