DELTA, B.C. - A person has been killed in a shooting in Delta, B.C.
A statement from Delta Police says officers responded to a call of shots fired just after 2 a.m. at a home on the northeast side of the city.
The unnamed male victim died at the scene.
Police say the deceased and the home are known to them.
They say the shooting is believed to be targeted.
BC Hydro says the outage affected an estimated 180,000 customers from Metro Vancouver to the Sunshine Coast, parts of Vancouver Island and southern Interior.
ROTG are usually both adult males and females and often times appear South Asian or Middle Eastern, and sometimes claim to be from Dubai or Saudi Arabia,
Police are looking for four suspects, all of whom were wearing dark clothing with hoodies at the time. This investigation is still ongoing.
Upon declaring the outbreak, Fraser Health immediately implemented precautions, including enhanced cleaning as well as contact tracing to protect the health of all staff, medical staff, and patients.
A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious and life threatening injuries.
Some 140 of the new cases are variants of concern, for a total of 1,912, which are primarily the more transmissible strain first identified in the United Kingdom.
