Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating a targeted shooting that damaged a residence in Surrey’s City Centre neighbourhood early Thursday morning.
Police were called to a home near 96 Avenue and 133A Street at approximately 6:07 a.m. on June 11 following reports of gunshots. Responding officers discovered damage to the exterior of the residence consistent with gunfire.
The home was occupied at the time of the incident; however, no injuries were reported.
According to SPS, the investigation remains in its early stages. While the motive has not yet been determined, investigators believe the shooting was targeted.
The case has been taken over by the Surrey Police Service’s Major Crime Section (MCS). Members of the Integrated Forensic Identification Services (IFIS) are also processing the scene and collecting physical and digital evidence.

The investigation remains ongoing.
