'Lucknow Central' unites power packed actors like Farhan Akhtar, Gippy Grewal, Diana Penty, Deepak Dobriyal, Ronit Roy, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq, Uday Tikekar, Sukh Kunwar on celluloid in a real life story that revolves around the life of prisoners.

 

The trailer of the film which released early last month left the audience intrigued witnessing the union of actors from various markets coming together on one platform.

 

After being hailed by audience and movie enthusiasts, 'Lucknow Central' received a shout-out from none other than Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan.

 

The actor, who is known to share a warm bond with Gippy Grewal and the film's team, took to Twitter to share his feelings. He wrote, "Good one Gippy, great trailer! All the best to the entire team!."

 
 

The film showcases Gippy Grewal playing the role of Parminder Singh Trehan, who is one of the members of the band formed in jail. The songs from the film further introduce the audience to the bond shared by the central characters and their respective life journeys.

 

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and is slated to release on September 15.
