Talking about why he decided to produce the film, Thind says, “The director, Mandeep Singh Chahal, narrated the script, and I found the story so fresh and close-to-heart that I instantly decided to produce it under my production house and started working on the casting and other needs.”

As producer, Thind has been involved in the making of the film from start to end – in the way of cast selection, script creation, arranging set and location, co-ordinating various aspects related to the film, and financing.

“Though I was in Canada when its shoot was being done, I was constantly in touch with the team who used to send me the pictures and videos of the shoot on the regular basis,” adds the independent filmmaker.

Thind is confident that movie-goers will enjoy the film. “Munda Faridkotia has really good music and the quality of film is on par with Bollywood films. It is an interesting film and an emotional drama and comedy combination, something that the Punjabi audience is always looking for.”

Dalmora Films plans to produce a few more films in 2019; they are also in talks with famous actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh to work on a film next year. We wish the very best to Daljit Thind and Dalmora Films Pvt. Ltd. and look forward to many interesting films from the production house.
