  • Acting Has Nothing To Do With Retirement: Anupam Kher
Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who has been in showbiz for over three decades, says age doesn't matter in a profession like acting.

The 61-year-old, who treated his fans for a question and answer session on Twitter on Monday, was asked by a user about his retirement plans from acting.

"Acting is luckily one of those professions where age has nothing to do with retirement," Anupam tweeted.

The National School of Drama alumnus has worked in popular films like "Saaransh", "Bend It Like Beckham", "Silver Linings Playbook", "ChaalBaaz", "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge", and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".

He is currently shooting for his next film "Love Sonia" in Rajasthan.

The film is produced by David Womark, who has previously produced films like "Life of Pi" and has been an executive producer for movies like "The Hulk" and "G.I. Joe Rise of the Cobra".

Directed by Tabrez Noorani, "Love Sonia" also features actress Richa Chadha in the lead role.

"Love Sonia" depicts the brutal realities of human trafficking across the globe and the film will be shot here followed by a schedule in Los Angeles.
