Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has tested positive for COVID19.  Neetu Kapoor his mother shared the news of her son's illness over social media. 

In an Instagram post  Neetu Kapoor thanked everyone for their good wishes for her son's speedy recovery.

Neetu Kapoor went onto say that he is in home quarantine. 

On Monday evening, Ranbir's uncle Randhir Kapoor had reportedly said that while Ranbir is unwell, he was not clear about the nature of his illness.

Interestingly enough, last winter while shooting for 'Jugg Jugg Jeeyo' in Chandigarh, Neetu Kapoor also tested positive for COVID19. 

For his future projects Ranbir is working on Brahmastra', which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt, and 'Shamshera', alongside Vaani Kapoor.
