  • Adnan Sami, Kabir Bedi mourn actor Bud Spencer's death
Singer Adnan Sami on Tuesday mourned the demise of Italian actor Bud Spencer, whom he describes as his childhood favourite actor. Kabir Bedi also condoled the death of the Spaghetti Westerns star, with whom he worked in TV drama "We Are Angels".

Spencer, a star of several Spaghetti Westerns -- Western films primarily produced and directed by Italian and other European production companies -- died on Monday. He was 86.

"One of my childhood favourite actors Bud Spencer has passed away... He did comedy and action with brilliant ease! RIP," Adnan posted on Twitter.

Kabir tweeted: "MISSING Carlo 'Bud Spencer', immortalised by spaghetti Westerns. Acted with him in 'We Are Angels'. RIP @budspencerweb."

Sharing how trend-setting Spencer was in his performance, Adnan added: "Bud Spencer was doing cool things which were later copied by many! An icon from Italy."

Known for his towering height and friendly spirit, Spencer partnered with Terence Hill for a string of successful hits, including 1970s "They Call Me Trinity", which became the highest grossing Italian film of the time. He also starred in "Trinity Is Still My Name" and "Double Trouble".
