After Ranveer Singh’s Kapil Dev In 83, Film Finds Its Sunil Gavaskar In Tahir Raj Bhasin

    After actor, Ranveer Singh was roped in for playing Kapil Dev, actor Tahir Raj Bhasin has become the newest member of Kabir Khan's sports drama in "83”.

     

    Tahir Raj Bhasin will be portraying former Indian international cricketer Sunil Gavaskar.

     

    The makers of the film made the announcement on Twitter. They said: “Presenting @TahirRajBhasin as Sunny urf the Original Little Master, #SunilGavaskar. #CastOf83.”

     
     
     
     

    The sports drama is based on India’s 1983 World Cup win against West Indies under the captainship of Kapil Dev.

     

    The film is presented by Reliance Entertainment and produced by Madhu Mantena, Vishnu Induri and Kabir Khan.

     

    Touted as the "biggest sports film" of the country, the film slated to be released on April 10, 2020.
