  • Aishwarya, Irrfan's Edgy, Dramatic Avatar In 'Jazbaa' Trailer
The much awaited trailer of Sanjay Gupta's forthcoming directorial "Jazbaa" featuring actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Irrfan Khan has been revealed-- and it shows the duo in a powerful and dramatic avatar.

The two minutes and four second trailer has action, drama and emotion juxtaposed into a powerful and edgy whole, which promises to keep the viewer hooked throughout the duration of the clip.

It begins with Aishwarya, who plays a character named Anuradha Verma, a lawyer, receiving a phone call, where she is threatened to fight the case of a criminal, who is guilty of rape and murder.

Irrfan is introduced as a suspended cop, who is popular for sporting megastar Amitabh Bachchan's look and ‘tevar’(attitude).

"Jazbaa" will mark Aishwarya's return to the silver screen after a five-year hiatus. She was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Guzaarish" (2010).

Produced by Essel Vision, White Feather Films and Viking Entertainment, the film also has established actors Atul Kulkarni, Jackie Shroff, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Shabana Azmi along with Aishwarya.

"Jazbaa" is slated to release on October 9.
