Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, actress Shriya Saran and film producer Kumar Mangat on Friday met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and appreciated the state's film policy, an official said.
 
The cast of Bollywood film "Drishyam", which was released nationwide on Friday, said the state government was doing good work to promote film production related activities in the Uttar Pradesh.
 
On the occasion, the chief minister highlighted how the state offered immense potential for film production, and for this, his government had tailored a friendly film policy which had provided great impetus to film-related activity in the state. 
 
A large number of film producers were being attracted to the state and proposals for film shooting were coming, he said, adding film producers of full cooperation and assistance from the state for film shooting.
 
Mangat observed that due to the efforts of the Uttar Pradesh government there was a very conducive environment for shooting in the state. 
 
He announced that he will shoot his next film in Uttar Pradesh. 
 
Mangat, who is also associated with solar energy sector, also expressed a desire to invest in the sector owing to the attractive solar energy policy of the state government.
