  • Ajay Devgn To Light Up Box Office On Diwali 2016, 2017
Though he might miss the 2015 Diwali to entertain his fans, Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn is all set to dominate the silver screen on Diwali 2016 and 2017.

The release date of Ajay's upcoming directorial venture “Shivaay” has been preponed from January 2017 to Diwali 2016. Also the sequel of his 2012 film “Son Of Sardaar” has been lined up for Diwali 2017, read a statement.

“Shivaay”, which marks the 46-year-old's return to the director's chair after "U Me Aur Hum", will feature him in the title role alongside 17-year-old Sayesha Saigal.

Meanwhile, “Son Of Sardaar 2” will see the actor back in a turbaned look.

Ajay, who has mastered almost all the genres including action, thriller, romance and comedy, announced the film's release date on Twitter on Wednesday.

“Sorry yaar, duniya bekar bina Son of Sardaar! Get ready for the sequel releasing Diwali 2017,” he tweeted.

Until then, Ajay will next be seen in “Drishyam”, a thriller directed by Nishikant Kamat. He plays a middle class family man named Vijay Salgaonkar.
