Akshay Kumar elated with success of wife Twinkle's book

    Actor Akshay Kumar, who is currently gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film "Singh Is Bliing", says he is proud that his wife Twinkle Khanna's debut book "Mrs Funnybones: She's Just Like You and a Lot Like Me" has achieved the number one spot within a week.
     
    Twinkle launched the book on August 18 at a glitzy event here.
     
    The "Namastey London" actor took to micro-blogging website Twitter to share his happiness.
     
    "Happiness is... Seeing your wife's book at number one within a week. @mrsfunnybones has arrived! #MrsFunnyBonesBook #proud," he tweeted.
     
    Akshay and Twinkle, who got married in 2001, are proud parents of two kids -- Aarav and Nitara. 
     
    The actor will next be seen in "Singh Is Bliing", which also features Kay Kay Menon and Lara Dutta. 
     
    The film is slated to release on October 2.
