Akshay Kumar to star in Reema Kagti's 'Gold'

  • Akshay Kumar to star in Reema Kagti's 'Gold'
Actor Akshay Kumar has joined hands with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtars production banner Excel Entertainment to star in director Reema Kagtis upcoming film "Gold".
 
This will be the first time Akshay will be associating with Excel Entertainment and Kagti, read a statement.
 
"Gold" tells the story about India's first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 at the 14th Olympiad in London.
 
Akshay tweeted on Friday: "Set in 1948, the historic story of India's first Olympic medal as a free nation, ‘Gold' coming to you on August 15, 2018".
