Yes! That's exactly what you read. The 'Naagin' of small screens is soon going to graduate to the big screens with 'Gold' starring Akshay Kumar in the lead. According to Mumbai Mirror, Mouni will make her debut with this film.
 
 
 
The report quotes a source as saying, “Mouni will be seen in a completely different avatar to suit the era. She will film for 20-25 days in August and is one of the few female characters in the otherwise male-dominated narrative. She will be shooting extensively with Akshay.”
 
 
'Gold' is a sports drama set in 1948 and based on India’s first Olympic medal.
