Akshay Kumar's 'Rustom' Trailer Thrilling With Mystery Of Murder

    The trailer of Akshay Kumar starrer "Rustom", launched on Thursday, is packed with a mystery element and showcases the action star as a naval officer.
     
    The over three minute-long trailer shows Akshay Kumar clad in a crisp white uniform, sporting a moustache, while actress Ileana D’Cruz, as Akshay’s love interest in the film, shines in bold coloured lipsticks and a vintage look.
     
    Ileana and Akshay took to their Twitter accounts and shared the link to the film's trailer.
     
     
    “Patriot? traitor? murderer? Run up to the judgment day begins. 'Rustom' trailer,” Akshay captioned it.
     
    “Rustom” is based on real life incident of Naval Officer K.M. Nanavati. The film, which carries the tag line ‘3 shots that shocked the nation’ also brings back Akshay and director Neeraj Pandey after the duo worked together on their 2015 project “Baby”. Pandey will be co-producing film.
     
    With Santosh Thundiyil has handled the film's cinematography, it is directed by debutant Tinu Suresh Desai.
     
    “Rustom” will release in theatres on August 12.
     
    Despite 'Mohenjo Daro', 'Rustom' clash, Hrithik congratulates Akshay
     
    Despite the clash between "Mohenjo Daro" and "Rustom" at the box office, actor Hrithik Roshan has congratulated actor Akshay Kumar for the trailer of his film.
     
    "Mohenjo Daro", which reunites Hrithik with his "Jodhaa Akbar" director Ashutosh Gowariker, will hit the screens on August 12 alongside "Rustom", which has been directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.
     
     
    Despite the clash, Hrithik took to Twitter on Thursday to appreciate the "Rustom" trailer.
     
    "Congrats Akshay Kumar. Loved the 'Rustom' trailer. Good choices maketh the man. I'm sure you agree Twinkle Khanna. God bless," Hrithik tweeted.

    The Hindi film fraternity praised the trailer of the forthcoming film "Rustom" for its thrilling elements and congratulated actor Akshay Kumar for his work and look in it.
     
    While the trailer made Ajay Devgn take a second look at it, filmmaker Karan Johar found it "supremely intriguing".
