Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Raksha Bandhan' to release on Aug 11

Mumbai, June 16 (IANS) Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'Raksha Bandhan' is all set to hit the screens on August 11.
Akshay took to Instagram, where he shared the motion teaser of the film. It also gave a glimpse of a song featured in the movie.
He wrote alongside the motion teaser: "Bringing you all a story of the purest form of bond that will remind you of yours! A#RakshaBandhanAreleasing in cinemas on 11th August, 2022."
'Raksha Bandhan' is a comedy drama film, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar. The film, directed by Aanand L. Rai, revolves around the love, bonding and attachment between brother-sister.
This will be the second time Akshay and Bhumi will be seen sharing screen space together. The two were earlier seen in 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'.
Akshay also has 'Ram Setu', 'Mission Cinderella' and 'OMG2' among many other films in his kitty.
Kalki Koechlin is pregnant with her first child. The 35-year-old actress, who is five months pregnant now, has her due date in December. She is planning to deliver her baby through water birthing in Goa.
Ma Anand Sheela, secretary of the late godman Bhagwan Rajneesh, popularly known as Osho, is in India. She said on Sunday that she had mixed feelings when she came to the country two days ago, but now she feels like she is in a "twilight zone".
Actor Tiger Shroff, who is gearing up for the release of "War", is not worried that his upcoming action drama clashes with "Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy" at box-office on October 2.
Actress Rani Mukerji, who is gearing up for the second installment of the "Mardaani" franchise, says the film will see a woman stand up against evil, against crimes committed on women and take a bold and brave stand.
