After shuttler P.V. Sindhu clinched a silver medal at the Rio Olympics, Bollywood's 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar dug from the archives a special photograph in which he is seen playing badminton with her.

"Always knew you were an achiever. You managed to convert a cricket obsessed nation to watch badminton. P.V. Sindhu. Proud," Akshay captioned the image which he posted on his Twitter account on Saturday.

Hailing the sportswoman, Akshay also tweeted: "Every cloud has a silver lining indeed! First Olympic silver in Badminton for India! Thank you. Huge respect".
