  • Alia Hopes 'Shaandaar' Makes It To 100 Crore Hearts
Her "Shaandaar" may or may not make it to Bollywood's Rs.100 crore club whenever it releases, but Alia Bhatt, who stars in the movie with her childhood crush Shahid Kapoor, hopes the romantic entertainer paves its way into 100 crore hearts.

The first look of the film was released on Twitter on Wednesday, and it has attracted Bollywood buffs with Alia and Shahid looking every bit of a cute and cuddly couple.

Following the release of the first look, Alia treated her fans on micro-blogging site Twitter to a chat.

One user asked, "Will 'Shaandaar' make it to the 100 crore club??"

To that, Alia responded: "I hope it makes it to 100cr hearts!!!"

Asked about her experience of working with Shahid, whose movie "Ishq Vishk" she had seen when she was all of 10, Alia: "Lovely lovely... A huge learning for me... And too much fun on set."

Best thing about Shahid?

"He's always happy and charged to be on set even now," said the the 22-year-old, who refrained from revealing much about her character in "Shaandaar", apart from sharing: "Let's say she has many quirky things about her! Like me ;)"

Alia and Shahid will also be seen in "Udta Punjab", which she said features her in her toughest character so far. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, and when asked to describe her, Alia commented: "Beautiful person, beautiful actor, just Beautiful!!!"

Produced by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, "Shaandaar" also features Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor.
