IANS, 20 Feb, 2019 10:21 PM

Newlyweds Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh celebrated their first Valentine’s Day post marriage with the Padukone family.

The couple was seen supporting Deepika’s father, Prakash Padukone, who was being honoured at an awards event on February 14.

DP shared some throwback pictures from the event with her mother, Ujjala Padukone on her Instagram account on Wednesday. Deepika captioned: “trying to get her to smile...but she’s such a natural... #motheranddaughter”.

DP can be seen sitting next to her mother and making funny faces. However, her mother kept it natural yet beautiful.

With her hair tied in a bun, Deepika looked killer in a red backless gown.

Deepika shares a beautiful bond with her mother. The two even shared screen space for a commercial where the audience got a chance to see the eternal bond between them.

On the work front, Deepika has started shooting for her next film, ‘Chhapaak’. She will be playing the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in the film.
