Anooradha Patel Roped In For TV Show 'Sher-e- Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh'

    Veteran actress Anooradha Patel has been roped in for the upcoming historical drama "Sher-E- Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh".
     
    "I appreciated the conviction with which the makers approached me for the role and everything worked out well as the production house is very professional. Also my gut feeling said that the role and the show is very powerful and so I said yes," Anooradha said in a statement.
     
    The actress, who has has worked in Bollywood films like "Ready", "Aisha" and "Khap", will be seen playing the role of Mai Vajero, 'dai maa' of Ranjit Singh in the Life OK show.
     
    She will be playing a pivotal role as she will be a friend, philosopher and guide to Ranjit Singh. She is the one who will impart her teachings to Ranjit Singh which will help him to overcome internal conflicts for the rest of his life.
