  • Anushka, Imitiaz Play Safe: KJo-Ranaut Nepotism Debate
Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut's on-going nepotism debate took a new twist on the official trailer launch event of ' Jab Harry Met Sejal'.

During the official trailer launch of the movie on Friday, when director Imtiaz Ali and Anushka Sharma were questioned upon their take with regard to the hot hitting Nepotism topic of Bollywood industry; the response added another layer.

Imtiaz was asked, "Nepotism exists in the industry have you faced nepotism ever in the industry?" to this the 'Tamasha' director replied, "We all three are outsiders. If there was any nepotism against us then we wouldn't have been here. If I am here, it is only because of the love and affection of the existing film industry of that time."

However, Anushka and Ali agreed to the fact that if nepotism is a part of this industry then it is wrong and every individual's personal experiences should be respected.

The 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' star stated, "Everybody has their own experience and it has to respected and valued."

The debate began when KJo was accused by Kangana as the flagbearer of nepotism during KJo's chat show, ' Koffee with Karan'. During the IIFA 2017 event in New York, when Varun Dhawan, Saif Ali Khan and Karan Johar ganged up against Ranaut the issue was sparked up again.
