Ayushmann Khurrana to perform at IIFA 2023 Yas Island awards spectacle

Mumbai, May 10 (IANS) Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who was most recently seen in 'An Action Hero', is set to perform at the IIFA Awards this year in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The International Indian Film Academy Awards, popularly known as IIFA, is returning for its 23rd edition on May 26 and 27 and will see the who's who of Bollywood in attendance with deserving artistes being honoured for their work in Hindi cinema for last year.
IIFA is the world's biggest celebration of Indian cinema and it is set to bring together the very best in music and entertainment under one roof.
For its 22nd edition, the Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani-starrer 'Shershaah' was conferred with the honour of Best Film with the event hosted by Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Maniesh Paul.
Couples in attendence, Riteish-Genelia, Rakulpreet-Jacky, and Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi, looked gorgeous. Pratik Gandhi also came in with his wife. Also, putting their best fashion foot forward were young stars Sanjana Sanghi, and Adarsh Gourav.
The good news is, after a lull of almost two years, there is a bountiful feast in store for movie buffs this festive season. So, gear up, for a crackling and dhamakedar Diwali at the movie halls, here’s what’s in store for you.
The reason behind the move is to avert a clash with 'Satya Prem ki Katha', which stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. 'Dream Girl 2' was supposed to be released on the same day as 'Satya Prem ki Katha' on June 29, 2023. Meanwhile, Ayushmann's recent film 'Doctor G' is garnering love from the audience.
Alia made her debut along with Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the Karan Johar-directorial Student of the Year' which was released October 19, 2012.
The report is understood to have detailed how Aryan Khan was deliberately targeted in the entire affair, the shoddy manner in which the entire probe into the cruiser drugs case was done, with many shortcomings in the investigation perpetrated by the NCB officers assigned to the sensitive case - which grabbed global headlines in October 2021.
Featuring Hollywood's premier effects studio Mr. X, the Amar Kaushik directorial is touted to boast of exquisite visual effects. 'Bhediya' is written by National Award winner, Niren Bhatt. Jio Studios & Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films present the film which is slated to release on November 25.
