Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer 'Dream Girl 2' to now release on Aug 25

Mumbai, April 24 (IANS) The upcoming film 'Dream Girl 2', which stars Ayushmann Khurrana as a cross-gender actor, has pushed its release date once again. The film was earlier supposed to bow in theatres on June 23, but now, owing to VFX work, the film will arrive in cinemas on August 25.
The VFX work is crucial for 'Dream Girl 2', as the film features Ayushmann Khurrana to play the role of Pooja and Karam. The makers want to ensure that he looks seamless and convincing as Pooja.
Speaking about the decision, Ektaa R. Kapoor, Joint Managing Director - Balaji Telefilms Limited, said: "We want Ayushmann Khurrana's character to look perfect as Pooja in 'Dream Girl 2', and that's why we are taking extra time to perfect the VFX work for the face. We want to ensure that our viewers get the best possible experience when they watch the movie."
She further mentioned: "The VFX work for Dream Girl 2 is an integral part of the movie, and we want to ensure that we deliver a high-quality product to our audiences."
The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in the lead role and is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
The audiences can participate in the dance contest and top 9 entries performances will be featured one by one daily on their social media platform from October 7 - 14 and will be given free academy subscription and certificates. One grand winner will get a personalised video message from Madhuri Dixit herself.
The series on Disney+ Hotstar also stars Namit Das, Sikander Kher, Jayant Kriplani, Sohaila Kapoor, Sugandha Garg, Maya Sareen, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Manish Chaudhary. The International Emmy Awards are a separate event from the main awards -- known as the Primetime Emmy Awards. The International Emmy Awards honour excellence in television programming produced outside the US.
She played the role of Jackie Shroff's (Abhyankar) sister. She appeared to be a fun-loving girl and the amusing banter between Salman Khan and Disha Patani were quite entertaining. 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' will premiere on & pictures on September 26 at 12:30pm.
The film is a spooky horror love story shot in various locations in India, including Pune, Lucknow and other cities. The film also features Arbaaz Khan, Tanishaa Mukerji and the film is directed by Vishal Ranjan Mishra.
The Mumbai Sessions Court granted bail to Kundra and his co-accused Ryan Thorpe - both nabbed on July 19 - six days after the Mumbai Police Crime Branch on September 15 filed a 1,400-page supplementary charge sheet naming them as among the prime accused.
Shilpa further stated that Kundra had launched Viaan Industries Ltd around April 2015 and she was on the board till July 2020 when she quit owing to personal reasons, as stated in the charge sheet filed by the police on Wednesday against Kundra and his associate Ryan Thorpe.
