  • 'Befikre' An Original Material By Aditya Chopra: Ranveer Singh
Actor Ranveer Singh says that "Befikre" is an original material by filmmaker Aditya Chopra rubbishing reports that suggest that the film has taken reference from Hollywood movie "No Strings Attached".

Asked if any reference has been taken from the Hollywood film "No Strings Attached " Ranveer told reporters: "It has got nothing to do with 'No Strings Attached'. It is an original material by Aditya Chopra. I am very proud to say that there is a filmmaker who has written original material."

The 31-year-old actor says the film, which is slated to release on Friday is a "blue Hindi romantic comedy film."

"Aditya Chopra believes that the Indian audience has evolved and it's not necessary to have that heavy dose of emotions. The film is light hearted and there is an emotional connect," he added.

The actor says their attempt is to present a "true romantic comedy" film.

The film also stars Vaani Kapoor and will be released on Friday.
