Amitabh Bachchan, who stays in touch with his fans on all mediums, crossed 18 million followers on social networking site Facebook. The megastar thanked his fans for connecting with him.
“18 MILLION !!! Followers crossed ! Thank you so much my FbxTF .. my Facebook extended family,” the actor posted on the networking site.
The 72-year-old uses the platform to share his thoughts and information related to his projects. The “Paa” star also took to micro-blogging site Twitter to express his happiness.
“18 MILLION !! crossed on Face Book...thank you all that connect with me !! Persevering to do more !!” he tweeted.
The actor, who has been in the industry for over 40 years, has completed filming Shoojit Sircar’s directorial “Piku”.
The movie, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan, will hit the screens April 30, 2015.
