Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was the Guest of Honour at a function at the US consulate here on Thursday to celebrate the country's Independence Day.
The US Independence Day is celebrated annually on July 4.
The "Deewar" actor took to micro-blogging website Twitter on Thursday night and wrote: "The US Consulate invites me to celebrate Independence Day... 4th of July... but done tonight... honoured. Guest of Honour for US Independence Day."
Big B also shared a few photographs from the event, and he was seen wearing a black bandhgala.
