  • Big B Strengthens Himself By Reading Father's Work Every Day
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says he likes to read a page from his late father and poet Harivanshrai Bachchan's work in the morning every day as it strengthens him to tackle obstacles in life.

Amitabh read “Jan Gita”, a poetic rendition of the Bhagavad Gita in Awadhi language of northern India, on Saturday.

“On reading the 'Jan Gita' this morning a revelation... Will need a proper forum to describe it. But revelation all the same," Amitabh posted on his blog.

“Read a page each morning my father left me with. I do and strengthen myself. This strength is divine and of divinity. They are never wrong,” the “Piku” actor added.

Harivanshrai, who died in 2003, is credited with works like "Madhushala" and "Agneepath". The "Paa" actor is often seen reciting Harivanshrai's poems and has called him a "unique genius" on several occasions.
