Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has wished actor and close friend Shatrughan Sinha on his 71st birthday on Friday. 
 
Amitabh on Friday took to Twitter to wish the BJP MP and actor, a year full of happiness and prosperity
 
"Shatrughan Sinha birthday greetings for the 9th! happiness and prosperity! Laughter the best possession," Big B tweeted. 
 
Amitabh and Shatrughan together have worked in blockbusters like "Naseeb", "Shaan", "Kaala Patthar", "Bombay To Goa" and "Guddi". 
 
Shatrughan's first acting opportunity was playing a Pakistani military officer in Dev Anand's "Prem Pujari". The release of Prem Pujari was delayed, so his first released film was "Sajan". 
 
He played supporting roles in many films before appearing in Gulzar's "Mere Apne" in 1971. He was cast along with Poonam Sinha then Komal in the movie "Sabak".
 
Shatrughan's daughter Sonakshi Sinha ventured into Bollywood in the 2010 film "Dabangg" starring superstar Salman Khan. Sonkashi and Shatrughan were together seen sharing screen space in the 2016 film "Akira".
