Bigg Boss 12 Contestant Karanvir Bohra: Being A Dad, I Will Play The Game Responsibly

Darpan News Desk IANS, 17 Sep, 2018 01:29 PM
Before entering the "Bigg Boss 12" house, actor Karanvir Bohra, who is quite active on social media, shared how difficult it would be for him to live without his phone.

"Not being able to connect with outside world and not being able to use phones will be difficult. Sustaining just on inter-personal communications is going to be hard," Karanvir told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

He also feels that people have become slaves to the luxury and it is important to get detoxed from social media sometimes.

The 36-year-old said: "Overdose of something is harmful and in today's time we all have become slaves to the luxury. Living away from social media will help me in understanding myself more. This 'Bigg Boss' experience will test me in every aspect and will help me grow."

Apart from the gadgets, he will miss his twin daughters the most.

"My babies are so attached to me and when they will realise that dad is not with them, they will feel bad (though they won't be able to express but I know it would be hard for them). Leaving my daughters behind is the biggest challenge," added Karanvir.

Karanvir had recently remarked that he did not want to do Bigg Boss as he wouldn’t be able to live without his twin daughters, Bella and Vienna.

When asked what made him change his mind, he said, “I think this decision has been extremely difficult. But then I realized, I am an actor, and like any profession, it has its own pros and cons. I am anyway shooting for 12 to 14 hours a day sometimes. I come home only by the time they’ve already gone off to sleep. Being away from them for months is not going to be easy. But I am sure when they grow up, they will be proud of their father and the challenges he’s taken in his career.”

While Bigg Boss is not for the faint of heart, the Naagin 2 actor hopes that his children enjoy watching him on the show. “They will definitely be watching their dad on TV in bits and pieces. They are going to miss me and hence the screen could be the perfect way of staying connected to their daddy.”
