Actress Huma Qureshi, who turned 29 on Tuesday, has been wished a year full of happiness by her friends and colleagues from the Hindi film industry.
 
Huma worked as a theatre actor and model before beginning her film career. She made her feature film debut with a supporting role in the 2012 crime drama "Gangs of Wasseypur", where she played the character of Mohsina, the love interest of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's character Faizal Khan.
 
Huma's performance earned her several nominations in the Best Supporting Actress and Best Female Debut category. 
 
She got noticed for her portrayal of a range of characters, including a witch in the 2013 horror film "Ek Thi Daayan", a RAW explosives expert in the action spy thriller film "D-Day", and the promiscuous companion of a Begum in the 2014 black comedy thriller "Dedh Ishqiya".
 
 
On the silver screen, the actress was last seen in Sriram Raghavan's "Badlapur", which also starred actors Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Huma is currently busy shooting for a remake of the Hollywood film "Oculus" alongwith her brother Saqib Saleem.
