B-Town Celebs Pray For 'Siachen Miracle' Survivor Lance Naik Hanumanthappa Koppad

    Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan are praying for the recovery of Lance Naik Hanumanthappa Koppad, the soldier who was rescued from under an avalanche on the Siachen glacier, in what many have called a 'miracle'.
     
    Koppad miraculously survived for six days after being buried under 35 feet of snow and ice and was rescued from the Siachen glacier. He is in coma and battling for life in an army hospital in New Delhi on Wednesday. 
     
    Celebrities like Shatrughan Sinha, Anupam Kher, Shekhar Kapur and Sunny Deol have saluted the heroic efforts of the Indian Army, who managed to rescue Koppad.

    Shatrugan Sinha: Full praise also for our action hero PM who immediately went to visit the brave survivor Lance Naik Hanamanthappa. May God be with you.
     
    Aamir Khan: Praying for the speedy recovery of our brave soldier Lance Naik Hanumanthappa Koppad. Our thoughts are with him, his wife and his family...Kudos to the recovery team who have fought against all odds in the most difficult conditions to bring about this miracle...Our salute to all his comrades whose lives were lost in this calamity.
