Chelsea Handler Asks Priyanka Chopra If She Could Speak English When She Came To US

Darpan News Desk, 27 Oct, 2016 11:58 AM
After rocking various red carpets, magazine covers and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, global icon Priyanka Chopra recently appeared on Chelsea Handler’s talk show.

Looking lovely in white, the 34-year old actor had a blast at the show while answering the host’s various questions about Indians.

Among a list of questions, the Bajirao Mastani actor was also asked if she knew English when she first came to America at the age of 12. Of course, Handler wasn’t aware of the sheer scale of people that can speak English in India and Priyanka took it on herself to clear her confusions.

Priyanka affirmatively stated that about 10 percent Indians can fluently speak English which accounts for 1.3 million of the population, more than most countries.

Quantico’s Alex Parrish took to her social media to thank Chelsea for having her over. She wrote, “You are so much fun @chelseashow. Thank you for having me. Can’t wait for you to experience India…you’re going to love it. Big hug!”

Reportedly, the pretty lady will next be seen in another US talk show ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ on November 2.

Earlier when the actor appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she explained that she wanted to become an aeronautical engineer but she was already a beauty pageant winner by that time and when she attended school it was so ‘awkward’.
