Chitrangada Singh To Walk For Debarun Mukherjee At Amazon India Couture Week

Darpan News Desk IANS, 27 Jul, 2015 11:03 AM
Actress Chitrangada Singh will walk as a showstopper for Kolkata-based designer Debarun Mukherjee at Amazon India Couture Week (AICW) 2015.

The designer will launch his debut bridal-festive 2015 collection in association with Indian wear label 'Heroine' at AICW 2015, organised by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).

The designer will take a modern interpretation of Bollywood styles of various decades -- from the 1940s to the current times -- with an interesting interplay of colours fused with timeless silhouettes, fabrics and embroidery.

The collection traverses through black and white, sepia, psychedelic, pastels, romantic and tone on tone colours, reflecting the eras while keeping the silhouettes modern and contemporary.

AICW 2015, to be held at the Taj Palace Hotel here, will begin on July 29 and end on August 2.
