Actor Ranveer Singh, who has been busy prepping for Aditya Chopra's directorial comeback "Befikre", says he is getting to know the reclusive filmmaker -- the head honcho of one of Bollywood's biggest film production banners -- in a completely new way.
 
"I am now getting to know him (Aditya) in a completely different capacity... Having worked with him for five years in a particular capacity," said Ranveer, who bagged the Best Actor award at the sixth edition of Times Of India Film Awards (TOIFA) 2016 for his work in "Bajirao Mastani", here.
 
Ranveer said the "actor-director relationship is always special".
 
"There is an open channel of communication and there is a soul connect."
 
And that's something Ranveer has been building upon with Chopra, who had produced the actor's debut film "Band Baaja Baaraat". Chopra has even produced Ranveer's other films "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl", "Gunday" and "Kill Dil".
 
But "Befikre" marks the first time for them as actor-director.
 
 
Of his camaraderie with Chopra, Ranveer said: "I would say our relationship has become very substantial in the past few months as we have collaborated as actor-director and I have understood that why he is one of the biggest directors of Hindi cinema."
 
Asked if he feels under pressure for "Befikre" -- considering that it's an Aditya Chopra directorial after a hiatus of seven years, Ranveer told reporters here: "There is absolutely no pressure. It is a very light hearted film and we are going to shoot for four months from start to finish in Paris.
 
"So we have to keep one thing in mind that we don't have to get into pressure and have fun." 
 
The "Band Baaja Baaraat" star says the film is shaping up well. He also shared that he has been "learning dance and some body building".
 
Asked if he would like to go international like his rumoured girlfriend and actress Deepika Padukone, Ranveer said: "Right now I am really enjoying the work here that I am doing in Hindi films. I am in collaboration with some really exciting filmmakers. So I am thoroughly enjoying the kind of work that is in the pipeline for me in the coming years."
