Extremely impressed by her work veteran actor Hema Malini recently lauded actress Deepika Padukone and called her "Dream Girl of today's age."
 
The 31-year-old 'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' star recently launched the biography of Hema Malini at Mumbai's suburban hotel on the latter's 69th birthday.
 
Hema Malini's birthday was a big affair for the yesteryear actress as well as her fans, as it saw the unveiling of her biography
 
The 'Dream Girl' of golden era, was very happy to have the 'Bajirao Mastani' star to unveil her book as she is personally very fond of her.
 
When the 'Sholay' star was asked whom would she tag as Dream Girl of today's times, the actress instantly responded that it is "Deepika Padukone who deserves the tag of Dream Girl."
 
The 'Tamasha' star felt overwhelmed to get a compliment from the veteran actress.
 
The biography 'Beyond the Dream Girl' is written by veteran journalist Ram Kamal Mukherjee. He has earlier penned a coffee table book on Hema Malini some 15 years back.
 
The biography also features a foreword written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
