Deepika joins Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan as presenter at Oscars 2023

Mumbai, March 3 (IANS) Actress Deepika Padukone is one of the chosen few from the world who will be presenting an award at the Oscars 2023 ceremony.
Deepika joins the likes of Emily Blunt, Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Janelle Monae, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Connelly, Riz Ahmed, Melissa McCarthy among a few others to be part of this honour. The 95th Oscars will air live on ABC on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
A list of names was shared on The Academy's Instagram handle. The caption read: "Meet your first slate of presenters for the 95th Oscars. Tune into ABC to watch the Oscars LIVE on Sunday, March 12th at 8e/5p! #Oscars95."
On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in 'Fighter' starring Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. The film is directed by Siddhant Anand.
She will also be seen in 'Project K', alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
Several Indian personalities are attending the prestigious event such as Deepika Padukone, R Madhavan, Kamal Haasan, A.R. Rahman, Pooja Hegde, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nawazuddin Siddiqui among many others.
French actor and filmmaker Vincent Lindon, who starred in the 2021 Palm d'Or-winning film 'Titane', is the president of the jury, which includes, besides Deepika, Iranian filmmaker Asghar Farhadi, English actress and director Rebecca Hall, Italian actress Jasmine Trinca, French director and screenwriter Ladj Ly, Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, and American director Jeff Nichols.
]Tushar, who had participated in dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' and was also the stage director of the reality show 'India's Got Talent', is now all set to be seen on 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 12'. He made his career as a choreographer in Bollywood with the movie 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.
The brand created a 45-second fun digital film starring Kareena performing yoga in the most unexpected places. Kareena is seen demonstrating her prowess in popular asanas such as the cobra pose and pranayama with chin mudra, revealing her love for yoga.
Emma Stone, an Oscar winner and longtime House Ambassador, and Zhou Dongyu, a fellow Ambassador and pillar of contemporary Chinese cinema, star alongside Deepika Padukone in the campaign.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced the decision while condoling the demise of Sharma. The last rites shall be performed at the Vile Parle crematorium at around 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
