Deepika Padukone Apologises To Fans For Not Winning Award For Padmaavat

    The recently held Filmfare Awards 2019 saw Raazi won big. Besides winning the Best Film award, Meghna Gulzar bagged the Best Director award and Alia Bhatt was awarded as the Best Actress for 2018.


    While Alia’s fans were rejoicing over her, Deepika Padukone’s fans were disappointed with the result. Deepika was nominated for her act in Padmaavat. It was by far the most challenging role she’s ever done.


    Fans took to social media and expressed their dismay over the winner. Deepika took to the comments section of one of her fan pages to apologise. The actress wrote, “To all my fans, I am sorry I let you all down and promise to work harder than ever before...”
