Darpan News Desk IANS, 22 Mar, 2015 04:34 PM
  • Dibakar keen on 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' sequel
Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee already has a sequel of detective film "Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!" on his mind.

"I am very interested in making 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! 2' because in this film, it's the detective's his first case. If this film is a success, then I want to make one more and show the audience a new adventure of Byomkesh," Dibakar said here.

The film, based on a character originally created by Bengali writer Saradindu Bandyopadhyay, features Sushant Singh Rajput as the protagonist, and it is slated to release on April 3.

Banerjee says his movie is different from the "Byomkesh Bakshi" TV show.

"That was a TV serial, and that works differently. A film takes you to a different world."
