The Mehras, the dysfunctional Punjabi family in Zoya Akhtar directorial “Dil Dhadakne Do”, will be going on an extensive multi-city tour to promote the highly anticipated film, and if all goes as planned they will also be joined by Pluto, the dog who plays a pivotal role in the movie.
 
The family will be travelling across the country and visiting cities like Kolkata, Indore, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Delhi, Ahmedabad and Bangalore.
 
According to a source, the film's makers are keen that Pluto Mehra too accompanies the Mehras on the city tours. 
 
"Dil Dhadakne Do" is about this Punjabi family on a cruise across the Mediterranean, and how they discover love and friendship during their vacation. 
 
The film, which stars Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Shefali Shah and Priyanka Chopra, will release on June 5.
