Doing Action In Heels Was Fun, Says Adah Sharma

  • Doing Action In Heels Was Fun, Says Adah Sharma
Bollywood actress Adah Sharma, who will soon be seen in action thriller "Commando 2: The Black Money Trail", enjoyed doing action scenes wearing high heels in the movie.

Her role is that of an encounter specialist.

The actress, who strongly believes in gender equality, feels a heroine should perform an action sequence as authentically as a man.

"I don't discriminate between men and women. My parents brought me up teaching me everyone is equal. A kick or a punch should look as authentic whether that is coming from a man or woman. In the film, I have done action sequences wearing high heels... That was fun," Adah told IANS.

She plays a Hyderabad-based girl named Bhavna Reddy, who is outspoken and beats up bad boys.

"My character in the film is quite crazy. Coming from a small town, she wants to travel the world and shop. She says anything that comes to her mind without a second thought. I worked hard to get the accent (Hyderabadi) right and people are calling to say that I am sounding authentic," said Adah, who has earlier featured in "1920".

Directed by Deven Bhojani, the film "Commando 2: The Black Money Trail" also features Esha Gupta and Vidyut Jammwal. It is releasing on March 3.
