Dubbed version of superhit film 'Pathaan' headed for Russia, CIS markets

Mumbai, June 9 (IANS) Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster film 'Pathaan' has got the widest release for an Indian film in dubbed version across Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) including Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and many others.
The film, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, will also be released in Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan. The dubbed version will release on July 13 in this region across 3000 plus screens.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, 'Pathaan' has collected over Rs 1,050 crore gross at the global box office since its release.
'Pathaan' is part of Aditya Chopra's fabled YRF's Spy Universe that also includes blockbusters like 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'War.
"I'm all set to start filming for the new season with excitement and renewed energy. I get to show a different side of myself in season two and I can't wait to see what the audience will think about it.

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu will be seen in the upcoming film "Blurr", which will be bankrolled by her newly-announced production company Outsider Films. The film will be helmed by director Ajay Bahl, best known for his 2019 release, "Section 375".

Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi on Wednesday announced the birth of their son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi. Dia shared the news with fans on Instagram with a long, emotional note. The actress posted a picture holding her son's hand. She informed her son was a premature baby born on May 14, due to complications in her pregnancy. The baby is in Neonatal ICU since birth.
